The spring mini sessions went so well! Especially for my first go round.
Everything was well planned. I have learned what I need to do for next time, as well.
Editing has been very time consuming but I must say they all turned out great.
All the families were wonderful!
I even did a small family/framily shoot for the Barnett & Thompson families.
You can see those photos below as well.
I made the backdrop and the couch...
well the couch was the best investment I have made this far in my photography career.
TJ Maxx sells them.. for dogs! It's a dog sofa.
Not for me! It is the best couch for kids. It is absolutely wonderful.
I also wanted to incorporate Blair Bailey Design flower crowns into the shoot.
She is very talented and any way I can show off her work is always great.
My father even came out for one of the sessions and actually captured me doing my thing.
It was so much fun. This is definitely going to be a normal thing for me!
Here are a few from photos from each session.

Laura and Brad have been together for a little over six years.
They were such a delight to work with.
We met at Serenbe. Which is one of the craziest places I have ever been to.
It's in the middle of nowhere located in Palmetto, Georgia.
The best way I can put it is that it is almost like a new aged commune of some sort.
There are houses and shops and a farmers market that does veggies and meats.
It is absolutely beautiful!
These two are truly best friends and make each other laugh so much.
I wish nothing but the best for them in their future together.
Erin and Travis got married at Heritage Sandy Springs in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
I have known Erin for a few years now, so when she asked me I was thrilled.
I had been looking forward to this wedding since she asked me to shoot it.
Everything they did was very close to what I want in a wedding. (Sigh... one day!)
The weather was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky!
They had Mexican food catered and margaritas to drink! I was definitely okay with that!
The toasts ended by her father putting on sunglasses and the entire wedding party coming out on the floor and dancing to "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars. It was hilarious.
And the last song of the evening was "El Scorcho" by Weezer. It was a perfect way to end the evening.
Then they had a grand exit with sparklers.
I hope they have a wonderful time on their honeymoon in Barbados.
I also wish them all the best from here on out.
Emily saved the day by sewing Becca's dress that had ripped a little bit.
