Words cannot begin to describe the beauty of Lauren & Eric's wedding.
Everything was absolutely STUNNING! 70 miles west of Denver and approximately 8,730 feet (a little more than 1.5 miles above sea level), Silverthorne, Colorado is one of the most picturesque towns located in the Rocky Mountains. And the changing aspen trees was just the cherry on top. The elevation and lack of air didn't stop me from shooting some amazing photos. In the words of the bride, "I CAN'T EVEN!"
Beyoncé missed one of the best weddings ever. (Lauren tried really hard to get her to come... but you know how it is.)
Lauren did a first look with her father and Eric. I love that we changed it up a little bit and she surprised her dad and then Eric came and surprised Lauren.
They definitely got "Hitchelled" alright. One of my favorite things, besides the landscape, Lauren and Eric are huge The Walking Dead fans. In her vows she incorporated the zombie apocalypse.. because sometimes you just need to. "If the zombie apocalypse were to happen and you were to be bitten, then I would pull a Michonne and drag you around forever." Such love!
Written in the first page of the book was a gift to the groom. Lauren got them tickets to the UCI downhill championship in Val Di Sole, Italy, next September!
YOU GUYS!!! I cannot tell you how crazy these next few months are going to be!!
Two weekends ago started my 2015 fall season!
Jessica and John got married at Naylor Hall in Roswell, Geogira. Jessica and I have known each other since middle school. We were chorus buddies. I am so glad they chose me to capture their big day. I am so happy to know she landed such an amazing gentleman. John and Jessica are so crazy for each other. You can tell/feel it when they walk into the room.
Baby Charlotte is finally here and oh so teeny tiny! Emma Kate thinks she is her own personal baby doll... which we all know isn't the case in the least bit! She is such a loving big sister! Charlotte is going to be a trooper when she gets a little bit older. Such a happy family. Once spring time rolls around again we will be getting full family photos, again. So exciting. Congrats to adorable baby Charlotte.
I have been doing so many milestone shoots lately! This past week I had a one year shoot and a 6 month shoot. The one year shoot was miss Arielle. So cute in her pearls and tutu. She has definitely grown since the last session I did with her. A one year shoot mostly pertains you running around with the newly walking year old. So fast she was! And then the second shoot was the 6 month shoot I did this past Friday. McCoy just turned 6 months and I will be seeing him again for his 9 month session! He was pretty handsome in his yellow and white gingham button up. This gray chair of mine should become some kind of trademark for me now. It has been the best investment, yet!
This one year session was a fun one. I met the Thompson's at a friend of theirs property in Cartersville, Georgia.
I cannot believe Hope is one! It feels like yesterday I was doing her newborn session.
She definitely makes my job so easy.
I don't think she can get much cuter than she already is! Those blue eyes!
Kim and Jordon make some pretty good looking babies! I cannot wait to see baby number two in January!
Happy Birthday, Hope!
This sweet family was such a joy to work with! Amy found me and contacted me for a one year session/family photos. Amma and Kesslea were adorable! Amma is the oldest of the two and she was such a ham for the camera. Kesslea had a farm theme going for her first birthday so what better place to do photos than at a farm!?
Amma wanted to pose the same way. She even did it on her own. So cute!
