Maternity session? Check!
It's that time! We did Madeline & Stewart's maternity session at Sope Creek trail & ruins. We love this spot.
Seeing this family grow and capturing their milestones has been a highlight of the year for us.
We cannot WAIT to meet little miss Lowry Rose.

Where to begin when it comes to Carlos & Courtney's wedding day?
Well, being alumni to the college, the ceremony was held at Frost Chapel at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The reception was at the Rome History Museum.
The best man said in his toast that Carlos knew he had to find and know himself first before he could find the most perfect person. He found his soul mate once he did and lucky enough for Carlos, she knows herself just as much.
There is a quote that states "no love is ever the same." The love between Courtney and Carlos is exactly that quote, one like no other.
The way they look at each other you know exactly what they are thinking. They have got love in their eyes that will last an eternity. Cheers to you, Courtney and Carlos. We hope you have the best adventure you could possibly have. We wish you the best of luck through all the sunny days and turbulence along the way.

The sparkler exit was extended out into the road. We had a cop pull up and looked around. A lot of the guests thought he was going to tell them to move off the streets... he blocked the road so we could do the exit. He grabbed a sparkler and joined the crowd. He then made sure Courtney & Carlos made it to the hotel and congratulated them on his loud speaker. Such a sweet thing to do! Thank you Rome police department!
This weekend was beautiful. Saturday we had the first spring wedding of the year... those photos will be coming later.
Sunday I had this maternity session. Morgan & Neil will be welcoming little miss Henley Joy into the world in June.
We had the session at Sope Creek trail in Marietta, Georgia. Not a cloud in the sky. The only thing we were missing were some blooming trees. Henley is going to be one lucky little girl.
Paul & Elizabeth welcomed little Henry into the world on January 22nd. Weighing in at 8lbs 4 oz. & 21.5" tall. It is definitely newborn season.
I will say that parenthood looks great on these two loving parents. The grandparents and Katie, Elizabeth and Paul's soon to be sister in law (!!), were there for this session, too. It made the session just a little bit more special. The nursery was woodland themed. Elizabeth collected figurines as a child and was able to take some from her collection for the nursery. So sweet.
This little family was such a delight to work with. They were the first of two shoots I had Sunday.
We met at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. It is such a beautiful campus! So much going on all the time. It's just as pretty in the summer as it is in the fall. They have a wildlife refuge and there are sooooo many deer and fawn running around. It was pretty cool.
I had 5 shoots this past weekend and the first was a gorgeous morning christmas card shoot.
Blair and I have done a good amount shoots together, including their wedding. This one was a lot of fun.
She is a very creative woman. You should all go check out her Etsy site @ BlairBaileyDesign Especially if you want to buy some creative Christmas gifts for the coming up season! Her and Dustin brought their dog, Baxter, along. He did such a great job!
This was the first wedding of my three wedding stretch.
Billy & Myriah's wedding went swimmingly.
I was so happy to be able to shoot their wedding. I also did their engagement photos almost a year ago. They are such a great couple. They bring out the best in each other.
The country chic wedding was perfect from the boots to the delicious Bar-B-Que. The weather was bad in the morning but it cleared up and was actually quite hot, but I think the photos turned out well.
I had two newborn sessions yesterday. This post is about 6 week old, Maverick. He was so alert the entire session. He was probably the most calm baby thus far of my newborn shoots. He has an older 8 year old sister, Olivia, which was being such a great helper while making sure her baby brother was comfortable during the shoot. NIck & Christie are such great parents. Nick is the nephew of my aunt by marriage. I call them my cousins.. because you know that's how families work.. especially down here in the south. I will be doing more family photos for this lovely family in November. I cannot wait to see how those will turn out as well.
