ItThis wedding was a special one for us. I have known Kouyo for almost 10 years now. Brenna and I both used to work with him at Best Buy. I have to say thanks to him for getting me out the front lanes and into the camera department. I have always been heavily into taking photos, but getting into that department made me learn so much. This helped us get to where we are to day photo wise. Kaitlyn and Kouyo are perfect together.
The wedding and reception was held at Cold Creek Farm in Dawsonville, Georgia.
Brenna found a couch for free a few months back and we finally had a chance to use it! It went so well with the brides theme. Kaitlyn was nothing short of stunning. She had that 50s vintage/rockabilly/pinup vibe going on. Her dress was a killer style only she could pull off. Kouyo’s pacific style went so well with his mothers traditional Kimono. His parents flew in Japan for the wedding. We had a torrential down pour right before the wedding, but you can't tell because the sun came out almost immediately. Thank goodness!
Their first dance was to “Baby I Want You” by Amos Lee.
Between the dances with the parents, Kouyo had a special dance with his two daughters. It was such a sweet experience.
After cake and dancing the couple headed off to Mexico for their honeymoon.
We wish the best of luck to you four! We couldn’t have had more fun capturing the day!
Gender Reveal? Check!
Maternity session? Check!
It's that time! We did Madeline & Stewart's maternity session at Sope Creek trail & ruins. We love this spot.
Seeing this family grow and capturing their milestones has been a highlight of the year for us.
We cannot WAIT to meet little miss Lowry Rose.

Where to begin when it comes to Carlos & Courtney's wedding day?
Well, being alumni to the college, the ceremony was held at Frost Chapel at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The reception was at the Rome History Museum.
The best man said in his toast that Carlos knew he had to find and know himself first before he could find the most perfect person. He found his soul mate once he did and lucky enough for Carlos, she knows herself just as much.
There is a quote that states "no love is ever the same." The love between Courtney and Carlos is exactly that quote, one like no other.
The way they look at each other you know exactly what they are thinking. They have got love in their eyes that will last an eternity. Cheers to you, Courtney and Carlos. We hope you have the best adventure you could possibly have. We wish you the best of luck through all the sunny days and turbulence along the way.

The sparkler exit was extended out into the road. We had a cop pull up and looked around. A lot of the guests thought he was going to tell them to move off the streets... he blocked the road so we could do the exit. He grabbed a sparkler and joined the crowd. He then made sure Courtney & Carlos made it to the hotel and congratulated them on his loud speaker. Such a sweet thing to do! Thank you Rome police department!
Grayson is now 6 months and just keeps getting cuter and cuter!
I cannot wait to see all of these milestone sessions put together at the end of his one year session!
I cannot get over how adorable he gets. And also how much he really does look like his daddies!
The love between Sunny and Chinwe is unlike any I have ever seen before.
They are 100% connected to each other in all aspects of life.
Their love is as strong today as it was the day they married.
Now we welcome Samantha Grace into that love creating something even larger.
Their maternity session flows right into the newborn session.
I wish these three nothing but love and happiness as their family and love continues to grow.
Hello friends and followers!
We must apologize for this much belated update.
Things have been so crazy and busy that we finally have time to update this dang thing!
Spring Mini Sessions went so well!!! A HUGE thanks to all the families that came out. The rain made us change the dates so we really appreciate all the flexibility you guys have for us! Also thanks to Blair @ Blair Bailey Design for custom making some beautiful dream catchers for the sessions!

In a short month I have captured two HUGE milestones for Madeline and Stewart.
I am so pleased that I was able to do so.
I met with these two at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. They had found out what they are having that day and had the doctor put the gender in an envelope. They took it to party city with a huge decorated box and had the balloons added.
After walking around we finally found the perfect spot.
It's a girl! My guess was right! I cannot wait to meet little miss Lowry Rose!
It's that time in life where all of your friends are getting married and having babies... and we are here to capture it all and I absolutely love it.
I have known Taryn since middle school and I am so happy for her. She has sweet, loving & caring husband named Brad. We were originally supposed to do an anniversary session last fall but she broke the news to me that they were expecting and wanted to wait and do a maternity session in the spring! We met at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia and ventured around to the beltline.
They are having a little girl in June and I just have to say that this baby girl is going to be filled with so much love & joy from all her family and friends. Congratulations you guys! We cannot wait to meet her!
"There is nothing more beautiful than finding your course as you believe you bob aimlessly in the current. And wouldn’t you know that your path was there all along, waiting for you to knock, waiting for you to become. This path does not belong to your parents, your teachers, your leaders, or your lovers. Your path is your character defining itself more and more every day."

Kennedy's senior session at Pigeon Hill trail in Kennesaw, Georgia was so much fun. The sun decided to hide behind the clouds but that didn't stop us. The light was perfect.
I have to wish her all the luck in the world on her new chapter in life. She has been accepted into Auburn this fall and she cannot be more excited. Congratulations Kennedy!
Madeline & Stewart could not have had a more beautiful wedding. The love between these two is unlike any other. The ceremony was held in her sisters back yard in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Madeline got ready at her parents house in Marietta, Geogria where she grew up.
We did the wedding party photos before the ceremony at Allatoona Pass Trail in Cartersville, Georgia. We were supposed to go to downtown Acworth for photos after the ceremony but when time fell short we drove to the clubhouse. I noticed a quaint spot in someones yard in the neighborhood I was just like, "Hey! Let's do the photos here! The worst someone can do would be to say please leave my yard!" So... we did. Best spot ever. The sun coming through the trees was just dreamy and perfect. My friend, Rohan, helped me shoot this wedding. I could not have been more pleased with his shots. He captured Stewart's priceless expressions when Madeline made her appearance. Their rings had "You're weird I'm weird" engraved in them. I loved that so much! So original.
Last but not least... the sparkler exit. Sparklers and rose petal cannons.. NEED I SAY MORE!?
I wish Madeline and Stewart all the love in the world. Their next adventure is coming very soon and I cannot wait to meet he or she! :)
