Seattle was a short trip but a blast! I loved every minute of it. I flew out there Thursday night and stayed until Tuesday. Friday my aunt, Tonya, and I went to the EMP museum and drove around the city. Lounged outside in the beautiful weather and played with Sleater & Ruby. We had dinner with some of my cousins that I hadn't met until now! Very nice people! Saturday we went to Alki Beach for brunch. I got out of the car and my phone dropped in the sewer. Thankfully I was due for an upgrade.. So we made an unexpected trip to AT&T to get a new phone. I had everything backed up so I didn't lose anything. (Back up your stuff people!) I put my toe in the Pacific ocean for the first time. I love the west coast! Sunday Tonya, Shireen & I went to the San Juan Islands/ Friday Harbor and went whale watching. We were literally on a boat all day long. And OF COURSE! the only person on the boat to get sick was the person sitting behind me. I had to give her mother a dramamine and she was good. Never fails. We saw a bunch of Orca whales and the sunset was gorgeous. Monday we played tourist and went all around the city like the market, the Fremont troll, the house boats. The city was beautiful as was the weather. I would move there in a heartbeat... (don't tell my grandfather that!) Most of the photos were taken with my Canon.. some my phone. Kurt Kobain's guitars and sweaters My fan girl self giggled in excitement when I saw these two. A-ha! Actual piece of lego from the "Fell in Love with a Girl" video by The White Stripes. Kerry Park Sleater! Ruby, Sleater's girlfriend and Shireen's pup :) Don't let the photo fool you... Razzle is a fat cat! Right after my phone fell in the sewer! Alki Beach & my first dipped toe in the Pacific Ocean The bench at Kurt Kobain's house. $4 Mimosas! Friday Harbor of the San Juan islands Had to take a photo of this! This is what we call Carlos, mine and Nick's pup! The house boats from Sleepless in Seattle The Fremont Troll & Gasworks Park & the beautiful views from the ride home

Saturday I had the pleasure of FINALLY having a session with Jodi & her two kids. This shoot has been rained out twice. Third time is definitely a charm. It was sunny and no clouds in the sky. We went out to Canton, Georgia to their family's property. Ruffin just turned a year old so we did some "1 year" shots. Poor baby was teething so he was kind of cranky but we got some great shots. EllaLane had a tea party with her favorite disney princesses. She wore a few of Blair's flower crowns (as seen in previous post.) She is probably one of the most precious little girls.
I met Blair by word of mouth for my photos. I believe I contacted her about wedding info.
We have a lot of same concepts for photo ideas and after her wedding day I told her whenever she needs photos that I will always be there for her and her family! The creative woman that she is, has an Etsy shop that sells her handmade flower crowns and dream catchers. She has such a lovely eye for anything bright & boho. We did a session at her friend, Ashleigh's, property in Canton, Georgia. You will see her in a bunch of the photos below. We beat the rain and ended up having a fun time. Brenna joined us, too. Enjoy! Go check out her Etsy shop if you love her work: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BlairBaileyDesign Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Michelle & Josh. They flew up here from south Florida for photos! They are getting married in Roswell, Georgia, so we decided to do photos at Roswell Mill. We were just hoping for it not to rain that we weren't even thinking of the heat. It was a very hot day! Despite the heat, they both looked great! I cannot wait for the wedding in May!
This weekend has been very eventful. Friday I made my way up to Cartersville, Georgia and did a family shoot for my sister and her family. It was very hot. I ended up standing in an ant bed and not realizing it. I literally got ants in my pants... and bites all around my ankle... ouch!
