This is my second fall session with the Mason family. Last year we did a family session at Downtown Canton. We met up again for photos again this year at my friend Ashleigh's property in Canton, Georgia. It's absolutely gorgeous and the leaves are almost at peak! The tables had turned this year. Maddie was a delight and Jay was a little upset through the shoot. He was a trooper and made it through with a good amount of smiles. They are such a beautiful family! I always enjoy working with them.
This session was very similar to the one below for Tom & Victoria.
I went to high school with David, I absolutely LOVE Maddie, and once again including a pup named Bella made it even better!
They are getting married in Marietta so we thought it would be fitting to do their engagement session at the square. We ended the session at Kennesaw Mountiain where they had their first kiss. I cannot WAIT for their wedding next September!
Tom & Victoria had their engagement session at Serenbe in Palmetto, Georgia. This one was one of those special sessions. Tom and I have known each other since highschool and I am so glad to be the person to capture this milestone in his and Victoria's life. I absolutely love these two together. It's such a great thing to know that Tom swept up such a wonderful lady! Here is to Tom & Victoria.. and Copper! I cannot forget about sweet Copper. Such a sweet pup!
Last fall I did Megan & Charlie's engagement session. They have been together since highschool. They attended the same college in Indiana and now that they are both back in Georgia they decided to tie the knot.
The ceremony was at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic church in Dunwoody. The reception was at the Payne-Corley house in Duluth, Georgia. The day was clear and beautiful until it was time to depart to the reception hall. It rained, once again, but we made it work! I also have to thank my friend, Rohan, for assisting me for this wedding. It was definitely needed.
I had the pleasure of talking to Megan's great grandmother. She turned 100 back in July and I simply did not belive it at first. She was so active! (You can see her in the purple dress dancing away!)
I wish these two a happy future and nothing but the best. I wish I was in the Dominican Republic. Sigh... one day!
Lyndsey & Robert had such a fun wedding. We definitely didn't let rain ruin the day. Hurricane Joaquin just made us more creative in photos. We were prepped with rainboots and umbrellas.. a little last minute but nevertheless SUPER helpful and cute!
They had their big day at Fendley Farmstead in Canton, Georgia. It's a new venue and it's so nice! There were so many nooks you could, under in other circumstance other than rain, get some great shots! If you need a great venue and are looking in the Canton area, check them out! Lyndsey and Robert had a few things happen before the wedding. Robert broke his hand.. luckily it was his right! The rain, too. But that did nothing but boost the amount of luck from here on out.. but I wish them so much more. Not only are they husband and wife, but they are best friends and will laugh through the good times and the bad. They can definitely cheer each other up.
Cheers to the happy couple!
