Paul & Elizabeth welcomed little Henry into the world on January 22nd. Weighing in at 8lbs 4 oz. & 21.5" tall. It is definitely newborn season.
I will say that parenthood looks great on these two loving parents. The grandparents and Katie, Elizabeth and Paul's soon to be sister in law (!!), were there for this session, too. It made the session just a little bit more special. The nursery was woodland themed. Elizabeth collected figurines as a child and was able to take some from her collection for the nursery. So sweet.
Joel & Patrick are two of my oldest and dearest friends of mine. This session was a very special one for me.
These two have gone through all the ups and downs of adoption. They have paid their dues for years with all the waiting and heartbreak. It has all paid off now because they have Greyson Eli Atchison. This handsome little man has no idea how incredibly lucky he is to have TWO wonderful and caring fathers.
The morning they went into the NICU to meet him for the first time, little Greyson was sick and screaming his lungs out. The minute they stepped up to him he calmed right down. The nurses were in tears. They had to take turns stepping out of the room. Greyson knew he had just met the two loves of his life that will be there for him and love him unconditionally.
I cannot wait to see him grow up and help capture all of his milestones.
Congratulations you three. You guys truly truly deserve all the happiness that is coming your way.
It's crazy to think that Maverick is already a year old! It seems like yesterday I was doing his newborn shoot. Happy 1st birthday little man! We went to Berry College for this shoot. Olivia had her first birthday photos done here as well. Keeping up with the tradition. This little dude is so stinking cute and full of personality. I cannot wait for family fall photos! The Barnett family has always been one of my favorite families to work with. Always a fun time. They always go the extra mile to get their kids to laugh and smile
This past weekend was full of shoots.
Marsha posted on facebook that she needed a photographer for family photos.
I messaged her and she ended up being neighbors to my sisters sister in law. (small world!)
We ended up chatting and booked a session. The Revard's are such a beautiful family!
Blake just turned three and his is such a ham. We went to Cheatham Hill in Kennesaw.
We did a small hike to get where we needed to go and Blake fell in love with the woods and
came up with quite a collection of sticks. You will see all of them in the photos below.
He has some of the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. I look forward to working with them again.
It is amazing to see Sully so big! I did his new born shots almost a year ago and he is still so stinking precious. I worked with Steve at Best Buy way back in the day. We still keep in touch and it was so good to see him and Sarah again. He was my first model on the new chair I purchased. I cannot wait to use it for more shoots!
I will be posting more of this little smiley baby soon when we do his one year shoot! I cannot wait!
I did a small shoot for my sister and her family in downtown Adairsville, Georgia, on Sunday.
It's always a fun time shooting my family. My nephews are getting so big. Drew actually turned 6 years old today!
We did a shoot for her church group as well. Those photos will come later... but at the bottom is one of the photos :)
Take a peek!
The second shoot saturday was this beautiful family! They live in Roswell, Georgia, and I met them at their house. They have gorgeous property! Baby Samuel is such a precious little boy. I hope I will get to capture more of his as he gets bigger! Karoline saw the newborn photos I did of Baby Emmett and wanted to get some done. I love how these turned out. Take a look!
Saturday was originally going to be full of mini family shoots.
The weather ended up being extremely cold and windy.
So, instead I ventured up to Adairsville, Georgia, and took some precious newborn photos of baby Emmett.
He is such an adorable newborn baby.
The cold windy weather was worth it! See for yourself how handsome this little man is.
