This engagement session was a lot of fun!
Cody & Morgan have been together for a while now.
Morgan went to Berry College so we decided to do the session there at her alma mater. We love shooting at Berry so any option to do so.. we are all for it!
Getting married in July 2017, they are having a patriotic wedding that we cannot wait to shoot! She brought that theme into the session and it was perfect. They even brought their kitty, Trooper the moustache cat, to be in some of their photos!
At the end of the session, they wanted to recreate one of their first dates.
The cut up some watermelon that they grew in their garden. They are big nascar fans and Cody hasn't missed a race in almost 8 years. They decided to add on to the session and do silly nascar cutoff shirts equipped with jorts! So fun!
This was my second shoot Saturday, and also my second time working with this beautiful family. I did their photos back in the fall which you can see here. Reed & Emrey have grown so much in the past 7 months.
We had to reschedule this shoot a few times but I am so glad we did because we couldn't have asked for such a better day or weather! Berry College is such a beautiful campus.
What can I say about Blair? She is a one woman show when it comes to all of her creativity. She is pregnant with twin boys and due in a few more weeks. I cannot wait to meet Hunter & Oakley. You will be seeing her newborn photos sooner than later. She has her own Etsy shop called Blair Bailey Design. She makes flower crowns, dream catchers, and also calligraphy. Blair, Amanda, and I drove to Serenbe for the day. Not only did we do her maternity photos, but we also did a small shoot modeling all of her new crowns and necklaces. Even I did some modeling... It is strange being on the other side of my camera.
Laura and Brad have been together for a little over six years.
They were such a delight to work with.
We met at Serenbe. Which is one of the craziest places I have ever been to.
It's in the middle of nowhere located in Palmetto, Georgia.
The best way I can put it is that it is almost like a new aged commune of some sort.
There are houses and shops and a farmers market that does veggies and meats.
It is absolutely beautiful!
These two are truly best friends and make each other laugh so much.
I wish nothing but the best for them in their future together.
Wednesday I went and stayed the night at my sister's new house in Adairsville, Georgia. It's about an hour or so north of Atlanta. It was the first time I have seen it since they have moved in. They have done so much work on it and it looks so good so far! I cannot wait to see it completely finished.
Weather called for snow, so I thought it would be fun to come up with my camera and do a little photos hoot in the snow! We ended up getting about 6 to 7 inches of snow. It was absolutely beautiful and so much fun!
My nephews absolutely loved it.. as well as us, too. A little bit of kid comes out in everyone when you have a snow day like this. We all took turns tubing down the hills.
I also think this was the largest snowman I have ever built. (well captured being built)
This shoot was very exciting. Megan found me on Instagram and loved my work so she wanted me to do their engagement photos and wedding! We did these at Roswell Mill in Roswell, Georgia. This lovely couple has been together for six years. They started dating their senior year of high school and have been together ever since. Their wedding is in October and I can't wait to work with them again.
It is amazing to see Sully so big! I did his new born shots almost a year ago and he is still so stinking precious. I worked with Steve at Best Buy way back in the day. We still keep in touch and it was so good to see him and Sarah again. He was my first model on the new chair I purchased. I cannot wait to use it for more shoots!
I will be posting more of this little smiley baby soon when we do his one year shoot! I cannot wait!
I did a small shoot for my sister and her family in downtown Adairsville, Georgia, on Sunday.
It's always a fun time shooting my family. My nephews are getting so big. Drew actually turned 6 years old today!
We did a shoot for her church group as well. Those photos will come later... but at the bottom is one of the photos :)
Take a peek!
The second shoot saturday was this beautiful family! They live in Roswell, Georgia, and I met them at their house. They have gorgeous property! Baby Samuel is such a precious little boy. I hope I will get to capture more of his as he gets bigger! Karoline saw the newborn photos I did of Baby Emmett and wanted to get some done. I love how these turned out. Take a look!
