Things are super busy right now! Weekends are jam packed of family, engagement, & maternity sessions!
The weather has been warm and we are embracing it. This maternity session was done in the Grant Park area of Atlanta.
Aeleise is glowing is killing it on her maternity session. Her idea for this session was perfect!
Caroline & Tyson are going to be married in April. We cannot wait to capture their wedding!
We decided to do some family photos before then. One is hers and the other three are his.
This blended family is nothing but beautiful and so much fun.
We cannot wait to see them all dolled up next year!
This engagement session was a lot of fun!
Cody & Morgan have been together for a while now.
Morgan went to Berry College so we decided to do the session there at her alma mater. We love shooting at Berry so any option to do so.. we are all for it!
Getting married in July 2017, they are having a patriotic wedding that we cannot wait to shoot! She brought that theme into the session and it was perfect. They even brought their kitty, Trooper the moustache cat, to be in some of their photos!
At the end of the session, they wanted to recreate one of their first dates.
The cut up some watermelon that they grew in their garden. They are big nascar fans and Cody hasn't missed a race in almost 8 years. They decided to add on to the session and do silly nascar cutoff shirts equipped with jorts! So fun!
Gender Reveal? Check!
Maternity session? Check!
It's that time! We did Madeline & Stewart's maternity session at Sope Creek trail & ruins. We love this spot.
Seeing this family grow and capturing their milestones has been a highlight of the year for us.
We cannot WAIT to meet little miss Lowry Rose.
This weekend was beautiful. Saturday we had the first spring wedding of the year... those photos will be coming later.
Sunday I had this maternity session. Morgan & Neil will be welcoming little miss Henley Joy into the world in June.
We had the session at Sope Creek trail in Marietta, Georgia. Not a cloud in the sky. The only thing we were missing were some blooming trees. Henley is going to be one lucky little girl.
Words cannot begin to describe the beauty of Lauren & Eric's wedding.
Everything was absolutely STUNNING! 70 miles west of Denver and approximately 8,730 feet (a little more than 1.5 miles above sea level), Silverthorne, Colorado is one of the most picturesque towns located in the Rocky Mountains. And the changing aspen trees was just the cherry on top. The elevation and lack of air didn't stop me from shooting some amazing photos. In the words of the bride, "I CAN'T EVEN!"
Beyoncé missed one of the best weddings ever. (Lauren tried really hard to get her to come... but you know how it is.)
Lauren did a first look with her father and Eric. I love that we changed it up a little bit and she surprised her dad and then Eric came and surprised Lauren.
They definitely got "Hitchelled" alright. One of my favorite things, besides the landscape, Lauren and Eric are huge The Walking Dead fans. In her vows she incorporated the zombie apocalypse.. because sometimes you just need to. "If the zombie apocalypse were to happen and you were to be bitten, then I would pull a Michonne and drag you around forever." Such love!
Written in the first page of the book was a gift to the groom. Lauren got them tickets to the UCI downhill championship in Val Di Sole, Italy, next September!
Josh & Michelle got married at the Martin's Landing Clubhouse and grounds in Roswell, Georgia.
Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I had a blast capturing their day.
I did their engagement photos last summer and it was so terribly hot and humid.
The weather Saturday was perfect. All week the percentage of rain was high.
It went all the way down to 0%. Thank goodness! I have to rave again on Blair, of Blair Bailey Design. She made Michelle's flower crown and both the belts for the bride and maid of honor. They made the dresses even better! She is so talented. You guys need to go check out her stuff.
You will see in the photos below,
Josh & Michelle definitely have a kind of love that you can see and feel when they walk into a room.
Just seeing the way they look at each other is enough.
I wish them the very best in their future together.
See for yourself:
Sunny & Chinwe are such a lovely couple.
I met them at the square in Marietta, Georgia, to do an engagement shoot.
They were to be married the next day and just wanted to get some photos done.
They were naturals. The love coming from each other you can just see in the photos.
I really enjoyed working with them! I hope to do more shoots with them in the future!
