"There is nothing more beautiful than finding your course as you believe you bob aimlessly in the current. And wouldn’t you know that your path was there all along, waiting for you to knock, waiting for you to become. This path does not belong to your parents, your teachers, your leaders, or your lovers. Your path is your character defining itself more and more every day."
-Jodie Foster to University of Pennsylvania in 2006 Kennedy's senior session at Pigeon Hill trail in Kennesaw, Georgia was so much fun. The sun decided to hide behind the clouds but that didn't stop us. The light was perfect. I have to wish her all the luck in the world on her new chapter in life. She has been accepted into Auburn this fall and she cannot be more excited. Congratulations Kennedy!

Madeline & Stewart could not have had a more beautiful wedding. The love between these two is unlike any other. The ceremony was held in her sisters back yard in Kennesaw, Georgia. Madeline got ready at her parents house in Marietta, Geogria where she grew up. We did the wedding party photos before the ceremony at Allatoona Pass Trail in Cartersville, Georgia. We were supposed to go to downtown Acworth for photos after the ceremony but when time fell short we drove to the clubhouse. I noticed a quaint spot in someones yard in the neighborhood I was just like, "Hey! Let's do the photos here! The worst someone can do would be to say please leave my yard!" So... we did. Best spot ever. The sun coming through the trees was just dreamy and perfect. My friend, Rohan, helped me shoot this wedding. I could not have been more pleased with his shots. He captured Stewart's priceless expressions when Madeline made her appearance. Their rings had "You're weird I'm weird" engraved in them. I loved that so much! So original. Last but not least... the sparkler exit. Sparklers and rose petal cannons.. NEED I SAY MORE!? I wish Madeline and Stewart all the love in the world. Their next adventure is coming very soon and I cannot wait to meet he or she! :) First Dance: "You Make My Dreams" - Hall & Oates
I am so happy that I was finally able to do this session.
The rain has been so crazy lately that we have had to push this back a few weeks. I am glad we waited, though. The weather and the lighting couldn't have been more perfect. Ashely & Ross are having a little baby girl. Anslie Grace. (they picked a great middle name.. haha!) So precious! I hope I will also be meeting this little girl soon and doing their maternity photos. Check them out! This past weekend was full of shoots.
Marsha posted on facebook that she needed a photographer for family photos. I messaged her and she ended up being neighbors to my sisters sister in law. (small world!) We ended up chatting and booked a session. The Revard's are such a beautiful family! Blake just turned three and his is such a ham. We went to Cheatham Hill in Kennesaw. We did a small hike to get where we needed to go and Blake fell in love with the woods and came up with quite a collection of sticks. You will see all of them in the photos below. He has some of the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. I look forward to working with them again. I will be doing children's spring mini sessions!
I am in the process of making my backdrop as well as getting my props together. It will be a spring floral theme with pastel colors. If you are interested please let me know! Message me HERE for more information! |
