Laura and Brad have been together for a little over six years.
They were such a delight to work with.
We met at Serenbe. Which is one of the craziest places I have ever been to.
It's in the middle of nowhere located in Palmetto, Georgia.
The best way I can put it is that it is almost like a new aged commune of some sort.
There are houses and shops and a farmers market that does veggies and meats.
It is absolutely beautiful!
These two are truly best friends and make each other laugh so much.
I wish nothing but the best for them in their future together.
David & Suzanne's wedding was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect and her property is to die for!
They bought an old farm house out in Jackson, Georgia, and renovated it. She actually has a blog of her own about the house and everything they have done on the farm. You can see that here: http://www.suzanneduda.typepad.com
They are actually thinking about turning this into a venue for renting out for weddings and special events. I would book that place in a heartbeat. So many picturesque nooks and areas on that farm land.
I got there and Suzanne and David were both together. After shooting so many super traditional weddings it was nice to be a little out of the norm and out of my element. We did photos before the ceremony.... and then more after.
As they did their tour of the farm house... I actually had the opportunity to do a mini engagement session for her son, Christopher, and his fiancé, Katie. They are living in Louisiana, so it was a pleasure to have met them. What a cute couple they are.

Seattle was a short trip but a blast! I loved every minute of it. I flew out there Thursday night and stayed until Tuesday.
Friday my aunt, Tonya, and I went to the EMP museum and drove around the city.
Lounged outside in the beautiful weather and played with Sleater & Ruby.
We had dinner with some of my cousins that I hadn't met until now! Very nice people!
Saturday we went to Alki Beach for brunch. I got out of the car and my phone dropped in the sewer. Thankfully I was due for an upgrade.. So we made an unexpected trip to AT&T to get a new phone.
I had everything backed up so I didn't lose anything. (Back up your stuff people!)
I put my toe in the Pacific ocean for the first time. I love the west coast!
Sunday Tonya, Shireen & I went to the San Juan Islands/ Friday Harbor and went whale watching.
We were literally on a boat all day long. And OF COURSE! the only person on the boat to get sick was the person sitting behind me. I had to give her mother a dramamine and she was good. Never fails.
We saw a bunch of Orca whales and the sunset was gorgeous.
Monday we played tourist and went all around the city like the market, the Fremont troll, the house boats.
The city was beautiful as was the weather. I would move there in a heartbeat... (don't tell my grandfather that!)
Most of the photos were taken with my Canon.. some my phone.
Kurt Kobain's guitars and sweaters
My fan girl self giggled in excitement when I saw these two.
Actual piece of lego from the "Fell in Love with a Girl" video by The White Stripes.
Ruby, Sleater's girlfriend and Shireen's pup :)
Don't let the photo fool you... Razzle is a fat cat!
Right after my phone fell in the sewer!
Alki Beach & my first dipped toe in the Pacific Ocean

Had to take a photo of this! This is what we call Carlos, mine and Nick's pup!

Okay, so funny story about Dave & Heather and how I came to shoot their wedding.
We were all out for my friend Brenna's bachelorette party and we were at our last stop of the evening.
we ran into a group of people. I must say by that point everything was very.. how do you say it.. blurry.
I ran into Dave and he told me he was getting married in a few months. I didn't have a business card on me so we exchanged email addresses.
I thought nothing of it really.. well because.. I really couldn't.. (haha)
The next morning I saw the email in my phone and vaguely remember receiving it.
A week later, I received an email from David & Heather stating they loved my work and wanted me to do their wedding.
I was estatic!
I was at the right spot at the right time and everything happens for a reason. I love things like that.
Their wedding was small, simple and delicous! It was at the club house of The Lake House of Avondale Estates, which is in Decatur.
They had Highland Bakery cater and had some great mixed drinks.
As well as Westbrook brand beer (which was neat becuase their married name is Westbrook!)
I should invest in a new step stool because I almost fell out of a chair I was standing in to get the shots I wanted.
Best wedding music without a DJ, I must add! They had a ragtime piano player and some acoustic guitarists.
I must thank them for choosing me once more, despite the blurriness of that evening!
Heather's dress was from J Crew. I love their wedding line.
This has to be one of the best weddings I have ever shot. (so far at least!) The wedding was 20 minutes south east of Atlanta in Conyers, Ga at a lake house.
From her creativeness to her explosive laugh, Blair has this personality that can brighten any room she walks in.
The whole wedding spelled out B-L-A-I-R. She came to me with this vision of a Boho wedding. We spoke many times before the actual big day. We got everything down pat and ready to go. The photos came out beautiful and the venue was technically just a backyard wedding. The lake in the background was just the cherry on top. The giant balloons were a huge hit! The weather held up for her day and thank God it did. Blair did all of the signage herself. She has an etsy shop where she sells her work. Please check it out :) http://www.etsy.com/shop/blairbaileydesign
