Things are super busy right now! Weekends are jam packed of family, engagement, & maternity sessions!
The weather has been warm and we are embracing it. This maternity session was done in the Grant Park area of Atlanta.
Aeleise is glowing is killing it on her maternity session. Her idea for this session was perfect!
Fall is here again and we are seeing our repeat families grow taller and bigger!
The Mason family had their third shoot with us at Cheatham Hill trail in Marietta, Georgia.
These kids keep growing on us and I absolutely love Jay's expressions, haha!
This engagement session was a lot of fun!
Cody & Morgan have been together for a while now.
Morgan went to Berry College so we decided to do the session there at her alma mater. We love shooting at Berry so any option to do so.. we are all for it!
Getting married in July 2017, they are having a patriotic wedding that we cannot wait to shoot! She brought that theme into the session and it was perfect. They even brought their kitty, Trooper the moustache cat, to be in some of their photos!
At the end of the session, they wanted to recreate one of their first dates.
The cut up some watermelon that they grew in their garden. They are big nascar fans and Cody hasn't missed a race in almost 8 years. They decided to add on to the session and do silly nascar cutoff shirts equipped with jorts! So fun!
This.. this right here is why we love shooting more than just weddings.
Being a photographer is much more than just taking photos.. it's building a family-like relationship with your clients.
To see families grow and to capture their journey is such a wonderful thing. I absolutely LOVE it.
This year has been busy for these two. We have had the pleasure of shooting Madeline & Stewart's wedding, gender reveal, maternity session and now.. finally!!!! Little miss Lowry Rose is in the world and so so so adorable and perfect. I cannot put into words the amount of love I have for this sweet family and how we will be here to document their lives and grow.
Cheers & congratulations to Madeline, Stewart, and Lowry Rose!
You guys made one pretty baby!
Can I tell you guys that Colorado is a lot like Florida?
They are just as predictable for that afternoon rain as much as being at the beach. Especially during the summer!
Luckily, I was able to do a session with these two right before the storm rolled in... and never left until the next day!!
My Colorado trip was amazing as usual. I got engaged myself! Wedding planning has already started... oh man.
But enough about me... Jessica and Gabe moved out to Colorado a few months ago and we couldn't be happier for them!
(me personally I am quite jealous they get to see these gorgeous mountains all the time)
We met at Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. The storm went so well with the colors and vibe they had going on.
The wind can also be our friend for photos.. that natural wind blown hair made everything extra awesome.
I am so happy for these two and can't wait to celebrate the wedding back home in Georgia.
ItThis wedding was a special one for us. I have known Kouyo for almost 10 years now. Brenna and I both used to work with him at Best Buy. I have to say thanks to him for getting me out the front lanes and into the camera department. I have always been heavily into taking photos, but getting into that department made me learn so much. This helped us get to where we are to day photo wise. Kaitlyn and Kouyo are perfect together.
The wedding and reception was held at Cold Creek Farm in Dawsonville, Georgia.
Brenna found a couch for free a few months back and we finally had a chance to use it! It went so well with the brides theme. Kaitlyn was nothing short of stunning. She had that 50s vintage/rockabilly/pinup vibe going on. Her dress was a killer style only she could pull off. Kouyo’s pacific style went so well with his mothers traditional Kimono. His parents flew in Japan for the wedding. We had a torrential down pour right before the wedding, but you can't tell because the sun came out almost immediately. Thank goodness!
Their first dance was to “Baby I Want You” by Amos Lee.
Between the dances with the parents, Kouyo had a special dance with his two daughters. It was such a sweet experience.
After cake and dancing the couple headed off to Mexico for their honeymoon.
We wish the best of luck to you four! We couldn’t have had more fun capturing the day!
Gender Reveal? Check!
Maternity session? Check!
It's that time! We did Madeline & Stewart's maternity session at Sope Creek trail & ruins. We love this spot.
Seeing this family grow and capturing their milestones has been a highlight of the year for us.
We cannot WAIT to meet little miss Lowry Rose.

Where to begin when it comes to Carlos & Courtney's wedding day?
Well, being alumni to the college, the ceremony was held at Frost Chapel at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The reception was at the Rome History Museum.
The best man said in his toast that Carlos knew he had to find and know himself first before he could find the most perfect person. He found his soul mate once he did and lucky enough for Carlos, she knows herself just as much.
There is a quote that states "no love is ever the same." The love between Courtney and Carlos is exactly that quote, one like no other.
The way they look at each other you know exactly what they are thinking. They have got love in their eyes that will last an eternity. Cheers to you, Courtney and Carlos. We hope you have the best adventure you could possibly have. We wish you the best of luck through all the sunny days and turbulence along the way.

The sparkler exit was extended out into the road. We had a cop pull up and looked around. A lot of the guests thought he was going to tell them to move off the streets... he blocked the road so we could do the exit. He grabbed a sparkler and joined the crowd. He then made sure Courtney & Carlos made it to the hotel and congratulated them on his loud speaker. Such a sweet thing to do! Thank you Rome police department!
