Where to begin when it comes to Carlos & Courtney's wedding day?
Well, being alumni to the college, the ceremony was held at Frost Chapel at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The reception was at the Rome History Museum.
The best man said in his toast that Carlos knew he had to find and know himself first before he could find the most perfect person. He found his soul mate once he did and lucky enough for Carlos, she knows herself just as much.
There is a quote that states "no love is ever the same." The love between Courtney and Carlos is exactly that quote, one like no other.
The way they look at each other you know exactly what they are thinking. They have got love in their eyes that will last an eternity. Cheers to you, Courtney and Carlos. We hope you have the best adventure you could possibly have. We wish you the best of luck through all the sunny days and turbulence along the way.

The sparkler exit was extended out into the road. We had a cop pull up and looked around. A lot of the guests thought he was going to tell them to move off the streets... he blocked the road so we could do the exit. He grabbed a sparkler and joined the crowd. He then made sure Courtney & Carlos made it to the hotel and congratulated them on his loud speaker. Such a sweet thing to do! Thank you Rome police department!
This past weekend was full of shoots.
Marsha posted on facebook that she needed a photographer for family photos.
I messaged her and she ended up being neighbors to my sisters sister in law. (small world!)
We ended up chatting and booked a session. The Revard's are such a beautiful family!
Blake just turned three and his is such a ham. We went to Cheatham Hill in Kennesaw.
We did a small hike to get where we needed to go and Blake fell in love with the woods and
came up with quite a collection of sticks. You will see all of them in the photos below.
He has some of the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. I look forward to working with them again.
Saraven & Draven are twin siblings graduating this year from Kennesaw Mountain High School.
We went to downtown Acworth to do their senior photos. They were such a delight to work with.
I wish them the absolute best of luck with all their future endeavors.
It was such a beautiful day for photos. I am so glad we are behind all of this rain... for now at least!
This shoot was very exciting. Megan found me on Instagram and loved my work so she wanted me to do their engagement photos and wedding! We did these at Roswell Mill in Roswell, Georgia. This lovely couple has been together for six years. They started dating their senior year of high school and have been together ever since. Their wedding is in October and I can't wait to work with them again.
I love this family. Eric used to be my neighbor when i was still living with my parents. Since then, he has married Allison and had two beautiful kids, Maddie & Jay. We went to downtown Canton, Georgia, to do photos. Poor Maddie was past due on her nap for the day and was not up for the photo taking challenge. I won the challenge and still got some amazing shots in-between the cries. Buy Jay, he is all cheese all of the time. Take a look!
I have known this family for quite some time. I used to work with Terrance at Best Buy. When it was just him, Lara and Tolani. Now they have Micha, and the twins, Jaidon and Jordan... four wonderful kids and such a loving family. I have got to capture this family grow and grow. I am so grateful to know them and can truly say they are such a blessed family. I hope nothing but the best for them.
I ran into Bethany at a Halloween party. I used to work with her when I worked at Best Buy.
She is recently engaged to a wonderful gentleman named Josh. They are a great couple together.
A very rainy Sunday we decided to do a small shoot at Roswell Mill. They brought their pup, Leo, along. He is the most precious Dalmatian that I have ever met. I will be doing their wedding in April and I cannot wait! So, that means more photos to come of this lovely couple.
Ashley contacted me after seeing Christie and Nick's family photos.
We went to Cheatham Hill Park in Kennesaw, Georgia. My go to spot for photos.
The family shoot went well! The weather was cloudy but no rain! So that worked for me!
Taylor is only 4! She is such a tall girl! And super cute!
Happy First Birthday to little miss Ruby!
Erin and Blake had their maternity photos done at the mill off Sixes Rd in Canton, Georgia.
We went back to that spot for Ruby's first birthday photo shoot.
Ruby is all smiles all of the time... (well most of the time!)
All you have to do is sing "The Wheels on the Bus" and she is good to go!
Her favorite word to say is, "HI!" and she will wave, as well.
Below are photos from her first birthday shoot as well has her party. The cake was made by Rachael from Rach Makes Cakes. Her cakes are some of the best cakes I have ever eaten. And all super cute!
Go take a look at her website!
The second shoot saturday was this beautiful family! They live in Roswell, Georgia, and I met them at their house. They have gorgeous property! Baby Samuel is such a precious little boy. I hope I will get to capture more of his as he gets bigger! Karoline saw the newborn photos I did of Baby Emmett and wanted to get some done. I love how these turned out. Take a look!
